Greetings!
Oh, excuse my surprise. It's not often you see a human in this part of space- not that that's a bad thing, though! Unusual is good, I know that better than anyone!
Which is why I specialise in the unusal. Exotic creatures and artifacts from around the galaxy, to be precise! Just mind your fingers. Some of my merchandise bites.

Neoceras Ammonites

Interesting little cephalopods. No wonder they caught your eye- these were originally from Galactic Nature Reserve #34876, back when collecting was still permitted- yes, that's Earth to you. Of course, they're extinct there now- and that was a few hundred million Earth years' worth of evolution ago.
Neoceras are easy to take care of, just be careful what you put in the water. The eggs are highly sensitive to chemicals in the surroundings, in fact the adult's whole appearance depends on where the egg developed. Fascinating isn't it? The fun part is experimenting to see what colour patterns you can come up with!

Gapers
The gaper or laughing newt is named for its wide jaws that appear to constantly grin. Gapers are small amphibians which have returned completely to an aquatic lifestyle, resembling stingrays.
Most species are filter feeders, hoovering up tiny creatures and algae in their gaping mouths, but some are predatory and hunt larger prey. Just be careful not to touch! Most gapers have poisonous skins, which is why they come in so many colours.
They're very popular as aquarium pets though, and have been bred in all sorts of colours and patterns.
